Richard W. Steel
Rick’s career has spanned nearly 25 years in corporate human resources and executive search.  He has extensive search experience in the recruitment of middle to senior executives across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, retail, consumer products, financial services and high technology. His clients have ranged from start up ventures to Fortune 100 companies with a special emphasis in the functional areas of finance, marketing, sales, human resources and general management.

Prior to founding the firm, Rick was a Senior Vice President at Coffou Partners, a boutique search firm located in Chicago. On the corporate side, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for CCC Information Services, one of the largest providers of information services and software to the automotive insurance industry. He also led the human resource function at System Software Associates (SSA), a leading provider of MRP software. His earlier human resources career involved a number of both corporate and divisional management roles at Baxter Healthcare.

Rick holds degrees in Management and Psychology from Purdue University.  He has served on a number of civic boards and is very active in coaching and directing youth sports.
